Playgrounds

In Mariebergsskogen, there are several enjoyable playgrounds. Come here and climb, jump, run, and play to your heart’s content!

Playground

On our upper playground, you’ll find attractions such as a zip line, playhouses, and swings. The blue swing is specially adapted for those with mobility impairments. There’s also a train where you can continue playing after the ride on the tour train Conrad Höök is over for the day.

Play Garden

The play garden in Mariebergsskogen is unique in its kind. Already at the entrance square, you’ll notice the focus on Värmland’s history, culture, and nature. Here flows a tiny strip of the Klarälven river with shiny fish at the bottom. And over in the Play Forest, attractions like Hybelejens mill – equipped with climbing towers, slides, and suspension bridges – invite physical play. We hope that all ages will feel welcome to embark on a discovery journey. In our play garden, new experiences are constantly created through your and other visitors’ activity and imagination. The play garden consists of the music garden, literature garden, art garden, and play forest.

The play garden was designed by architect Helena Bjarnegård at White Arkitekter and was fully inaugurated on May 27, 2008.
