The Lillskogen zoo

Lillskogen is Mariebergsskogen’s animal park. Here, Swedish land races of all kinds live. Cows, ponies, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, and ducks await your visit. The chickens roam freely and peck around in the gravel in the stable yard.

In the small animal house, birds chirp, and ferrets, guinea pigs, and rabbits also reside. On cold winter days, the animals await visitors inside the stable where you are warmly welcomed.

Be careful with your hands and fingers when you greet them. Many of the animals have horns, strong foreheads, and sharp teeth. Feel free to read the information boards in Lillskogen.

Open every day.

You are always welcome to visit the animals in Lillskogen. Meet them in the pasture, the chicken coop, and peek into the stable. Don’t hesitate to ask our animal caregivers if you have any questions. All year round.
